Apart from clinical activity, Family Dentist also actively involved in creating dental health awareness in community. As part of the community, Family Dentist has the obligation to share info regarding Dental Health in various events. The focus are Families and School in the community. Here are some activities that we are doing:

1. Dental Health Education

This program is designed for Elementary school student where Family Dentist is actively engaged in giving   dental education to some neighboring schools.

In this program, Family Dentist will schedule a regular visit to perform a dental health presentation and check up.  The presentation is build to raise awareness for young student to be responsible for their own dental health.

The check up performed at this program will be a good indicator for the students dental health. At the end of check up, Family Dentist will issue the report so parents will be able to monitor their children dental health.

2. First Visit to Dental Office

This program is designed for Kindergarten students, the objective is to introduce Dental Office as early as possible to our children so they have a correct understanding on Dentist, Dental clinic etc.

Many parents are having difficulties when taking their children to Dentist. There are many factors on this for example:

- Lack understanding given to children regarding Dentist. Many parents in fact use Dentist or Doctors as they are trying to get their children to do something, this create a 'scary' perception on Dentist or Doctors.

- Children are already in pain when their parents are trying to take them to see Dentist.

In this program Children will be introduced to Dental equipment, they can also play in the dental clinics to build comfortable feeling for them.

3. Dental Health Education in Community

This program is designed to raise dental health awareness in community. For this reason, Family Dentist is also involved in community gathering such as 'Arisan', community meetings (Rapat RT). 'Arisan' is one of the strategic community gathering where we can communicate and give Dental education and information. The audience is normally Mothers who play a crucial role in determining family's dental health. So this program is crucial in our effort to raise dental health awareness.

4. Career Day

This program is designed for schools that have Career day for their students. In this program, our Dentist will introduce Dentist as profession and what they do in daily activity. Students would be able to interact with our Dentist and address their question on this profession.

The objective is to introduce Dentist as a profession and encourage the young student to study hard and start thinking of what they would like to do as a career in future.
